Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota and Blue Plus and Secure Blue are collaborating with Health In Her HUE to provide virtual behavioral health support for Medicaid members [including Minnesota Senior Health Options (MSHO), Prepaid Medical Assistance Program (PMAP), Minnesota Care (MNCare), and Minnesota Senior Care Plus (MSC+) members]. Health In Her HUE is a culturally informed healthcare vendor that supports BIPOC women.
Through this collaboration, members have 24/7 access to an online platform that includes resources such as a health content library on a range of topics and a community forum, as well as Virtual Care Squads. The Virtual Care Squads offer virtual peer support groups led by trained facilitators focused on how to manage anxiety and depression. Virtual Care Squads are hosted live with a facilitator twice a month for 8 sessions (4-month duration, 75 minutes per session). Clinical expert-developed curriculum content (e.g., video content, articles) and activities are provided to members to complete in between live sessions.
Learn to Live is a confidential online Cognitive Behavioral Therapy program. This form of therapy focuses on problem solving and changing behaviors. You can take online programs for the following conditions: Depression, Social Anxiety, Stress, Substance Use, Anxiety, Worry and Insomnia. The programs help you identify the problem(s), understand how your mind works, then learn and practice ways to deal with the problem(s).
