11/20/24 MSHO members who have a Dose Medication Dispenser or QMedic PERS device under the MSHO benefit and who have a waiver, see the updated instruction sheet. 

11/20/24 the 2024 Household Supports Flex Card Benefit Instruction Sheet_11-20-24 has been updated to add that funds cannot be retroactively added to the member’s flex card. The member’s flex card may be delayed as eligibility is dependent on a medical or pharmacy claim to Blue Plus validating the member’s eligible chronic condition.

9/13/24 QMedic has provided a new resource for Care Coordinators for the Blood Pressure Monitoring Service: QMedic – BCBS BP Benefit

 

CVS has removed the following items from their OTC offering. These items are no longer available for purchase through the CVS catalog or in store. 

  1. Item E119 Lubricant Eye Ointment The FDA notified CVS Pharmacy of potential risk related to the manufacturing of these products, including a potential risk of eye infections that could result in partial vision loss or blindness. Members who ordered the recalled product should immediately discontinue use and dispose of the product.  CVS OTC Health Solutions will honor any requested replacement order of equal value to any member who utilized their benefit on the impacted item.
  2. Item E125 Earache Ear Drops This item is no longer carried by CVS
  3. Item L2 Free and Gentle Tide Pods This item has been recalled due to not meeting the manufacturer’s quality standards. CVS OTC Health Solutions will honor any requested replacement order of equal value to any member who utilized their benefit on the impacted item. This item has been removed from the CVS OTC catalog offerings.
  4. Item P101 Moisturizing Body Wash Product is being withdrawn due to potential microbial contamination. This item has been removed from the CVS OTC catalog offerings. OTC Health Solutions will honor any requested replacement order of equal value to any member who utilized their benefit on the impacted item.

 

REMINDER: When calling or ordering with CVS, please include the alpha prefix on the member’s ID (i.e. MQS80XXXXXXX). CVS needs the full ID to find the member.
